What are you going to do?
Our client provides a comprehensive platform designed to help consumers make informed financial decisions. It offers a wide range of resources including articles, tools, and calculators that cover various aspects of personal finance such as credit cards, loans, investments, and insurance. Users can compare financial products, access expert advice, and find tailored recommendations to optimize their financial health.
The mission of the User Experience team is to create a high-quality UX for Our Client's paid membership product. We own the web and native foundational structures and connective tissue that knits all the features into one cohesive and premium end-user experience.
Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and deploy new features for web
Write clean, maintainable, and performant code based on industry best practices and team conventions
Build robust, high-quality REST API endpoints, backend components and GraphQL schema to support feature development
Perform unit and integration testing to ensure code quality
Actively engage in code reviews by providing and receiving constructive feedback
What will help you succeed
Experience as a web engineer
Experience supporting backend/full stack experience
Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Experience with design systems and UI/UX best practices
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and unit testing frameworks
Experience with GraphQL (client- and server-side)
Experience with NextJS
Experience with API development in Python and Go
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS)
