The role As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a key role in enhancing and delivering critical outcomes for our core SaaS software; Next Generation Scheduling and Schedule Automation Marketplace Integration. Your goal will be to deliver efficient and reliable code by leveraging cutting-edge cloud solutions. As part of a small Agile team, you will develop innovative, industry-changing software products using the latest technology stack. Our tech stack: .NET, CosmosDB, React, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Kubernetes, SQL Server, containers, and various cloud-native functionalities within the platform. Where you’ll work You have to be located in Poland to be considered for this position. You’ll have the flexibility to choose between remote work or working from our office in Warsaw. What you’ll be doing

  • Collaborating closely with your cross-functional product team, including QA and the Product Manager, to scope, plan, and build the sprint backlog.

  • Writing code for a product team, spending 80-90% of your time in hands-on development.

  • Contributing to the current and future state of the product architecture.

  • Collaborating with other Scrum development teams and others across the company to ensure standards are followed and we follow SOLID principles.

  • Taking the initiative in solving technical and organizational problems as they arise.

  • Prioritizing quality initiatives and factors in your code and through the pull request process for your team and other team members.

  • Helping refine and cultivate ShiftKey's architecture, technical standards, and Agile processes.

What you’ll need

  • Over 8 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong expertise in C# and .NET.

  • 3+ years of cloud experience, including at least 2 years working with Azure Cloud.

  • Prior full-stack development experience, with a willingness to work with React.

  • Proven experience applying modern application architecture principles.

  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to build relationships across teams to solve challenges.

  • Strong experience in API design and development.

  • Hands-on experience with automated testing, continuous integration, and other Agile Development practices.

  • Deep understanding of modern design patterns, with the ability to establish them.

  • A proactive approach to sharing knowledge and offering technical guidance to team members.

  • Ownership mindset for driving process and codebase improvements.

  • Experience in enhancing legacy systems and effectively managing technical debt to drive improvements.

  • Fluency in English.
