The Senior Frontend Engineer role is ideal if you have a passion for frontend development and a deep appreciation for visual design and user experience. You’ll work closely with our design, product, and engineering teams to build scalable, visually engaging, and interactive frontend features that drive significant impact for our users. You'll own features end-to-end—from conception to implementation and iteration—while contributing to our design systems and collaborating to make our visual execution exceptional.

Our current technology stack includes Node.JS with Typescript, Ruby, Postgres, Google Cloud Platform, FreeSWITCH, and React on the frontend.

Candidates must be based in the United States. This position is not open to other countries at this time.

Salary: The base salary range is $165,000 - $190,000. If you're selected, we'll make an offer within this range that matches the experience you're coming with. We respect your time and don’t intend to waste it.

What You'll Do:

• Frontend Feature Ownership: Own frontend features through their lifecycle, from discovery to deployment.

• Design Systems: Contribute to and expand our design system, creating a robust foundation for consistency and scalability.

• UI Development: Build and optimize UI components, interactions, and animations to ensure seamless experiences.

• Collaborative Development: Work with cross-functional teams to align frontend initiatives with backend and design objectives.

• Visual and Interaction Execution: Deeply engage in visual design quality and help other team members refine their visual execution.

Must Have:

• 3+ years of professional experience in frontend or full-stack development, ideally with feature ownership

• Experience with Design Systems: You’ve worked on or helped maintain design systems, ensuring seamless visual and interactive experiences

• Deep CSS Knowledge: You have a deep understanding of CSS, with a strong grasp of how to write scalable and sustainable CSS frameworks

• Fluency with a JS Framework: You are experienced with a mainstream JS framework (e.g., React, Vue, Angular, Svelte) and can leverage its full capabilities

• Passion for Visual Design: You care deeply about the craft of visual and interactive design and are excited to raise the bar on execution across the team

• Proactive Communication Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the desire to mentor and learn from others

Nice To Have:

• Experience with Accessible UX: You understand the importance of accessibility and are experienced in building accessible user interfaces

• Open Source Contribution: Familiarity with maintaining or contributing to open-source frameworks

• Fluency in Typescript/Javascript and CSS: Strong fluency in Typescript or Javascript, along with advanced CSS knowledge
