About the role
As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Hostaway, you'll take ownership of building and evolving the interfaces that our customers rely on every day. You'll be a key contributor to our frontend architecture, working in close collaboration with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver intuitive, high-performance experiences at scale. Beyond shipping features, you'll help raise the bar across the team — through code reviews, mentorship, and driving technical improvements that make everyone more effective.

Frontend: JavaScript, React, TypeScript, CSS, HTML, Redux-Saga, RESTful API, Webpack, Figma
Tools: Jira, GitHub (code reviews), GIT, Jenkins, Slack, Confluence
Requirements
Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-quality UI components, features, and reusable component libraries that contribute to our evolving design system.
Implement user workflows that are intuitive, performant, accessible (a11y), and responsive across browsers and devices.
Collaborate closely with Design, Product, and Backend teams to deliver seamless end-to-end user experiences.
Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure platform reliability and long-term stability.
Lead and participate in code reviews, upholding engineering best practices and contributing to frontend architecture documentation.
Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of growth and continuously elevating the team's technical standards.
Proactively identify and drive technical improvements across frontend systems, championing quality and maintainability.
6+ years of experience in SaaS software development.
Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
Experience in state management solutions (e.g., Redux, context APIs).
Proven track record in building scalable, maintainable frontend applications.
Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or similar, Playwright
Understanding of accessibility (a11y) and frontend performance optimization best practices.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and smooth integration with backend services.
Experience working in a Cloud environment (AWS is a plus).
