⭐️ Role Overview

Lodgify is on the lookout for a Senior Frontend Developer to join the UI squad and help us maintain and expand our Design System’s Components library.

You will be part of a squad fully dedicated to design and develop reusable components with the goal to efficiently empower other squads to improve the usability and consistency of their own domains.

⭐ How will you make an impact?

• Participate in the implementation and maintenance of our React library of reusable UI components, written in Typescript and Emotion.js

• Work closely with the product design function, you will take an active part in decisions that will shape our design system and the library

• You will be studying technical feasibility always with an eye on creating lightweight, easy-to-integrate-with and composable components

• Shape the best approach to effectively collaborate with product design. Our processes as squad will help drive collaboration between the 2 functions, to make it a breeze to move from design to development.

⭐ What makes you a great fit?

• At least 3+ years of experience with React

• You have strong foundations in JavaScript, Typescript, HTML and CSS

• You have experience working with Design Systems

• You write unit and integration tests. Experience with interaction tests using Storybook or E2E tests using Playwright are a plus

• You can effectively deliver accessible, mobile-responsive, performant and scalable solutions

• You have experience working closely with designers and can validate their ideas for technical feasibility

• Experience with Agile Principles (Kanban, Scrum)

⭐ How can you earn extra bonus points?

• Have experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions

• You can audit applications for accessibility issues and use WCAG specification effectively

• You have strong Git skills and have experience working with a mono-repository
