We are currently looking for a skilled & passionate Senior Frontend Developer (m/f/d) to become part of our Shop Applications Team at ABOUT YOU onsite in Hamburg or remote within the EU! Our Shop Applications Team constantly improves the App, Mobile Website and Desktop Website. These big-scale products are each visited by several million people every month. The team’s focus is to provide the most inspiring, convenient, intuitive, and easy-to-use shopping experience for our customers. They constantly challenge themselves to raise the bar of what is “state of the art” in customer-facing products.

What you will do

• Build high-traffic user interfaces with Vue.js, TypeScript and CSS for the browser and the server

• Work on the implementation of high-leverage features to optimize UX and conversion rates

• Maintain and improve the load- and runtime performance and monitor the Core Web Vitals

• Use the CI / CD pipelines to ship your changes every day to millions of customer

• Monitor and test the application to keep the website online in production

• Cooperate with skilled developers, managers, QAs, and designers to ship new components and features

• Draft architectural decisions together with the Tech Lead and explore new technologies

• Have a direct impact on team processes through regular retrospectives

• Exchange your knowledge with other developers and be part of our ABOUT YOU TECH community

Who you are

• Excellent & MVP-focused coding skills in JavaScript with a minimum of 5 years

• Practical & recent experience with JS Frameworks like React.js or Vue.js

• Strongly prefer recent experience in Vue.js

• Comfortable working with TypeScript and modern Ecmascript features as well as modern CSS techniques

• Experience in backend development

• Solid background in building complex customer-facing products coming along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Passionate about writing well-structured, high-performant, and maintainable code, actively maintaining the quality of the code base.

• Used to work in an English-speaking environment
