Senior Front End Web Developer

Aequilibrium isseeking aSenior Front-End Web Developerwith expertise in building financial services web applications ondigital banking platforms like Central1 Forge, Backbase, Plumery, Temenos, or VeriPark.

You are passionate about code and a maestro regarding pixel-perfect UI development. You work with enterprise-level businesses, with tens of thousands+ users visiting the sites, SPAs, and code that you create on a daily basis. You love shipping web applications and supporting them in production, and consulting with clients to bring clarity to challenging enterprise environments. Youll work shoulder to shoulder with our teams, partners, and clients.

What You Will Do

• Develop, optimize, and maintain responsive web applications leveraging front-end development using HTML5, CSS3, JS frameworks, and integration with 3rd party applications

• Work on complex enterprise solutions/applications in the front end using React 19 + Typescript

• Build on top of applications developed with technologies such as Spring Boot, Spring Security,Web MVC, and using application servers such as Tomcat, WebSphere, Weblogic or JBoss.

• Work with SOAP and RESTful web services using tools such as XML, JSON and RAML

• Identify and communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions

• Perform technical analysis, design, coding, and implementation of large-scale object-oriented application

• Collaborate with the team to assist in the development of logical specifications

• Integrate modern solutions with legacy systems

• Work in an Agile software development environment using methodologies such as Scrum

• Prepare reports and other documentation as required

Skills and Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Front End Web Developer in a tech professional services / digital agency

• Experience with Central1 Forge, Temenos, VeriPark, Plumery, or Backbase digital banking platforms is a big plus

• Consultative, resourceful, proactive, comfortable interacting with clients to solve their business challenges

• Proficiency inReact 19and modernTypeScript

• Experience withReact Router v7 (SSR)for server-side rendering and routing

• Strong knowledge ofNode.js 20 + Express 5in a full-stack environment

• Familiarity withVite 6as a build tool and modern frontend tooling ecosystem

• Experience withFirebase Authentication(or other authentication providers)

• Strong grasp ofUI/UX implementationusingRadix UIand data visualization withVictory Charts

• Experience withGoogle Maps APIintegration

• Solid understanding ofi18nextfor internationalization/localization

• Strong knowledge ofform validation & schema validation(e.g.,Zod)

• Hands-on experience withend-to-end testingusingPlaywright

• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices

• Git and Gitflow

• Ability to write clean, readable, maintainable code

• Teamwork and experience performing peer code review

• Familiarity withCI/CD pipelinesand deployment (e.g., Vercel, Firebase Hosting, Docker)

• Understanding ofweb security best practices(authentication, authorization, XSS/CSRF prevention)

• Familiarity withAgile development workflowand Git-based collaboration

• Strong sense ofUI/UX collaborationwith designers and product managers

• Experience with or knowledge of Agile Methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban

Education

• A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent)
