How you’ll make an impact

Overseeing all aspects of the finance function within both the US and Canada markets with a focus on optimizing business results.  You will sit on the GTM exec teams and contribute as a peer leader, and not just as a finance professional. We are seeking a remarkable individual to leverage their strong financial, analytical and communication skills to become the go-to expert on all things finance in the Americas. You will be the key owner of the planning, forecasting, analysis and internal reporting of the country’s financial performance. You will help ensure resources are effectively aligned to drive exceptional performance, provide a clear view and understanding of results, and produce insights into likely future performance. You will use your robust financial skills along with your highly honed communication style to effectively support senior leaders and help drive optimized economic results.

What you’ll do

Business Partnering

Develop strong working relationships with the peer country leaders, key contributors within each country, revenue operations, global finance, and global functions so that you may effectively inform, advise, and challenge. You are an expert at building relationships across borders, as it is key to successfully  aligning our FP&A function in a standardized approach.

Country Leadership Team Member

Going beyond being just a finance professional, you will sit on the USA & Canada GTM Leadership Teams as a peer with the other  leaders with input on broad management topics. You are the entrepreneur of finance data and will ensure the LTs understand the results, and how they impact the country as a whole.

Driving Sustainable Growth

You are the expert in how the market generates revenue, the acquisition spend needed to deliver the most optimal results, and influencing the GTM to implement operational changes to optimize our revenue growth. You utilize attribution data to effectively communicate results, patterns, and suggest changes. Influencing country leaders is a major feature of the role which is done through thoughtful analysis and recommendation.

Planning/Forecasting

You work with Global teams to set long term performance aspirations and supporting growth strategies. You partner with the country’s leadership teams to drive the annual planning process, making sure there is a realistic connection between resourcing levels, historical performance and expected product deliveries in order to develop a thoughtful growth plan. Throughout the year you will produce forecasts to highlight risks and opportunities to that plan and present recommendations for the quarterly re-planning process of ways to refine and optimize that annual plan.

Reporting,  Analysis and Recommendation

Own the creation and/or refinement  of the monthly reporting package, and present findings and insights to various levels within the organization (GTM Leadership, Finance Leadership, Global Finance, XLT). Provide thoughtful actionable recommendations to address any material variances from the plan. Additionally, you will forecast the most realistic view of in year expectations utilizing sales productivity/resourcing, enablement, product deliveries, and other efficiency levers to justify your results.

Primary Finance Contact for the America’s

You will be the “go -to” person for all things finance for the US & Canada leadership team. You will develop a broad understanding of the global finance function and build key relationships in order to help the country team interface effectively with the global finance and revenue operations functions. Additionally, you will act as the finance lead on any in-country programs with material financial impact (i.e. Partnerships, Product releases)

Creating & Maintaining Risk exposure through GTM Deal Desk

You will maintain/improve,  and operate the in-country deal review process. You will renovate the process to ensure sales teams can work independently from finance, but lean in on specific large value opportunities. Liaise with the global deal desk to ensure standardized guardrails, and timely and proper approval process.
