Octopus Deploy sets the standard for Continuous Delivery, empowering software teams to deliver value in an agile way. Over 4,000 organizations globally –  including Ubisoft, ASOS, Xero, monday.com, Stack Overflow, NASA, and Disney – rely on our Continuous Delivery, GitOps, and release orchestration solutions.

Founded in Australia in 2012, our team of over 270 Octonauts now spans the globe. We combine high growth and big ambitions with a sustainable, balanced working environment. Our revenue has grown consistently between 30–50% every year for the past 8 years, and we’ve been profitable for 10 out of the past 11 years.

We’ve been remote-first since 2015 and work with an uncommon level of transparency. You can read our public handbook to learn how we work. We have a transparent approach to compensation that ensures people doing the same work with the same skill get paid the same, with well-defined career pathways. We foster a supportive, collaborative, and high-trust environment. We leave our job titles at the door and focus on doing what’s best for our customers and team. Our leaders never shy away from answering the tough questions at our all-hands calls or in 1:1s. We conduct interviews and onboarding virtually as part of being a remote-first company.

As the Octopus Field Marketing Manager for Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), you will be the primary field marketing leader responsible for Octopus’s presence in the region and a core part of the team expanding our footprint across that region.

This role is a remote position based in the UK (preferably London), but does require approximately 25% of travel to events across EMEA, mostly in the UK.

What you'll do:

  • Develop, plan, and execute the overall regional marketing plan to support the revenue objectives for your region. This involves collaborating with the Revenue team, channel partners, and your marketing peers.

  • Execute best-in-class marketing campaigns in the EMEA market, both direct and with partners. This includes thought leadership, trade shows, lunch & learns, technical hands-on workshops, roundtables, webinars, ABM marketing, local advertising, and other tactics as appropriate.

  • Amplify our market position through social media and external influencers.

  • Partner closely with the Revenue leadership to tactically engage key target accounts.

  • Plan and execute marketing experiments to meet the unique requirements of your region and scale and automate successful campaigns that have shown strong ROI.

  • Closely track budgets, lead flow and follow-up, and results against goals. Communicate status, action items, results, and deliverables across the company.

Your background:

  • 3 - 5+ years of marketing and demand generation experience in B2B - software toolchain space, preferably in DevOps/GitOps/Continuous Delivery.

  • Ability to travel to events & conferences across EMEA.

  • Proven track record executing innovative and multi-part event and demand generation programs.

  • Experienced in using marketing automation tools (e.g. Hubspot, Marketo) and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce)

  • Understanding of general demand generation concepts such as buyer journeys, personas, and sales pipeline.

  • Understanding of data and metrics to drive improvements.

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in technology.

  • English language fluency.

  • A strong work ethic, team-player mentality, and experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

  • A self-starter approach, willing to have full ownership of your region and projects from day one.

  • Understanding of how to work with the Revenue team and Partners to generate and advance the marketing pipeline.

  • Understanding the concepts of DevOps, GitOps, and Continuous Delivery to engage in a dialog with prospects, customers, and industry influencers.

Octopus has an internally open and transparent system for compensation. Any Octonaut can view the compensation for any role at any level. This ensures people doing the same work with the same skill get paid the same.
