Expand MatrixSpace’s presence across the federal government by bringing advanced radar and sensing technology to new customers, missions, and applications.
MatrixSpace develops AI-enabled radar and sensing systems that help people understand what’s happening in the world around them. By combining advanced radar, edge computing, and AI, we deliver situational awareness in environments where traditional sensing solutions struggle.
We’re looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Federal Account Manager to grow MatrixSpace’s business across U.S. federal agencies outside the Department of War. You’ll develop relationships across the federal market, identify new applications for our technology, build strategic accounts, and drive opportunities from initial engagement through contract award and expansion.
If you’re a proven federal seller with an extensive network outside the DoW, a track record of developing new business, and the ability to uncover opportunities for emerging technology, we’d love to talk.
What You’ll Do
· Own and execute sales and account strategies across U.S. federal agencies outside the Department of War.
· Build and maintain trusted relationships with agency leaders, program managers, acquisition teams, technical stakeholders, end users, and key decision-makers.
· Identify, qualify, develop, and close new opportunities for MatrixSpace’s radar and sensing solutions.
· Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities and consistently deliver against sales goals.
· Lead opportunities throughout the sales lifecycle, from prospecting and customer discovery through demonstrations, proposals, procurement, negotiation, and contract award.
· Identify new missions and applications for MatrixSpace technology by developing a deep understanding of agency challenges and operational environments.
· Develop strategic account plans and identify opportunities to expand MatrixSpace within priority agencies and programs.
· Navigate federal budgeting, acquisition, procurement, and contracting processes to move opportunities forward.
· Partner with engineering and product teams to translate customer needs into compelling technical solutions and demonstrations.
· Build relationships with relevant federal integrators, contractors, and industry partners to strengthen MatrixSpace’s position across the market.
· Represent MatrixSpace at customer meetings, demonstrations, conferences, trade shows, and other federal industry events.
· Bring customer and market insights back to internal teams to help inform product and go-to-market strategy.
What We’re Looking For
This position requires working directly or indirectly with the US Government in restricted environments. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship and may be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance in the future.
Required
· 10+ years of direct sales experience, including extensive success selling technology, systems, or complex solutions to U.S. federal agencies outside the Department of War.
· Proven record of developing new business, growing strategic accounts, meeting sales targets, and closing complex government opportunities.
· Deep knowledge of the federal market, established relationships across relevant agencies, and strong command of federal acquisition, procurement, budgeting, funding, and contracting.
· Ability to uncover new customers, missions, and applications for emerging technology and connect sophisticated technical capabilities to operational needs.
· Strong executive communication, presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills, with the independence and persistence to own a federal territory and pipeline.
· Ability to travel as needed for customer meetings, demonstrations, conferences, and industry engagements.
· Experience with radar, RF, sensing, counter-UAS, autonomy, AI/ML, edge computing, federal integrators, or relevant contracting vehicles is preferred.
· You will thrive in this role if you are a resourceful relationship builder who enjoys opening doors, navigating long federal sales cycles, and finding new ways advanced sensing technology can solve difficult real-world problems.
At MatrixSpace, federal sales is about finding new ways advanced sensing technology can solve difficult real-world problems. You’ll help introduce MatrixSpace to new customers and missions, develop opportunities across the federal government, and build the relationships that turn emerging applications into lasting programs. If that sounds exciting, we’d love to hear from you.
