We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead and scale a high-performing team driving the evolution of our cutting-edge Cybersecurity product. At the intersection of AI and distributed systems running at scale, our technology is rapidly advancing to protect creators and companies worldwide. In this role, you will build and empower a team tackling complex and ambiguous technical challenges, collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders, senior leadership, the founding team, and the CTO. Your leadership will shape the product’s architecture, strategy, and execution, ensuring we stay ahead in a fast-moving industry. Our engineering team is globally distributed, and collaboration often happens across time zones. We’re looking for an leader who is flexible with overlapping hours and excited about leading and collaborating with teammates across different regions and cultures.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and Lead a World-Class Team – Recruit, hire, and onboard top-tier engineers with a builder mindset, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and technical excellence.

  • Drive High Performance – Set clear expectations, provide continuous feedback, and support career growth to empower your team to excel.

  • Define and Execute the Vision – Partner with engineering and product leadership to shape the team’s vision, goals, and technical roadmap, ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives.

  • Architect and Optimize Scalable Systems – Lead the design, development, and refinement of large-scale, real-time graph processing systems that are highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and performant.

  • Ensure Engineering Excellence – Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, system reliability, and security, driving continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate Across Teams – Work closely with product managers, UX designers, security teams, and other engineering groups to deliver impactful solutions.

  • Enhance Team Efficiency – Improve workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and drive seamless execution in a fast-paced environment.

  • Champion a Strong Engineering Culture – Promote innovation, continuous learning, and adherence to best practices, ensuring a high bar for technical excellence.

  • An Experienced Manager – With at least 3 years in a management role, you’ve successfully hired, mentored and developed top engineering talent.

  • Thrives in Fast-Paced Ambiguous Environments – You excel in ambiguity, turning challenges into opportunities, and driving high-velocity, high-quality product development.

  • Empathetic & Decisive Leader – Skilled at coaching engineers at all career stages, you foster growth, engagement, and technical excellence.

  • Execution-Driven – You have a strong builder mindset. You effectively balance technical depth with business priorities, ensuring teams deliver impact in a dynamic environment.

  • Deep Systems Expertise – Strong experience with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native technologies, including Go, Kubernetes, and highly distributed databases (e.g., BigQuery).

  • Excellent Communicator – You collaborate effectively across global teams in Europe, India, and the US, with strong verbal and written English skills.
