Speed and efficiency are motivators for our success and our employees live by our company values: High Integrity, Future Forward, Multistakeholder, Mindful, and Driven by Excellence. We have built a flexible work environment where new ideas are encouraged and everyone is a stakeholder.

Circle is looking for a Senior Director of Product Finance to serve as the strategic finance partner to our Product organization. This high-impact, high-visibility role sits at the intersection of finance and product providing a unique opportunity to shape how Circle evaluates, prioritizes, and invests in new product lines as we scale.

Reporting to the SVP of Strategic Finance and working in close partnership with the CFO, Chief Product Officer and product leadership team, and Head of FP&A, this individual will serve as a key voice inside our product org. In this role you will develop business cases, build financial frameworks, and provide the analytical horsepower our product leaders need to make confident decisions.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Serve as the embedded strategic finance partner to the Chief Product Officer and product leadership team.
  • Own the financial evaluation of new product lines and launches from concept through post-launch. Partner with product leadership / strategic finance to build business cases, unit-economics models, pricing frameworks, and revenue projections that equip leadership to make confident decisions.
  • Support financial planning for the Product organization, including annual plan, quarterly forecasting, and long-range modeling; advise on investment trade-offs and resource allocation across the product portfolio.
  • Drive scenario analysis, sensitivity modeling, and market sizing to pressure-test assumptions and support capital allocation discussions with Circle’s leadership team.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and market analysis to inform product investment theses; partner with corporate development and strategic finance on M&A diligence or new market entries that intersect with the product roadmap.
  • Prepare and present compelling financial narratives that bring the product strategy to life with financial clarity.
  • Develop financial performance dashboards and executive reporting for new and emerging product lines; lead variance analysis with clear, actionable commentary for senior leadership.
  • Build and scale the Product Finance function and establish repeatable financial processes and frameworks that make it faster and easier for product teams to access the insights they need.

What you'll bring to Circle:

  • 13+ years of progressive experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, or management consulting.
  • Demonstrated track record as an embedded finance business partner with experience influencing roadmap and investment decisions at the C-suite level.
  • Experience building financial models and business cases for new product launches, including 0→1 products and new market entries; strong command of unit economics, revenue modeling, and scenario analysis.
  • Background in digital assets, payments, fintech or tech is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to distill complex financial analysis into clear, actionable narratives for both financial and non-financial audiences, including executive presentations.
  • A “roll-up-your-sleeves” mindset: you are as comfortable building a model yourself as you are presenting to the CFO or Chief Product Officer.

Circle is on a mission to create an inclusive financial future, with transparency at our core. We consider a wide variety of elements when crafting our compensation ranges and total compensation packages.

Starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to: relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that compensation ranges may differ for candidates in other locations.

Base Pay Range: $227,500 - $280,833
