As Senior Director, Ecosystem Product, you will define and execute the ecosystem strategy that powers HubSpot's Builder Platform vision. You will lead the developer platform, APIs, MCP strategy, marketplace, strategic integrations, and builder experiences that enable customers, partners, and AI agents to build on HubSpot.

This role sits at the intersection of developer ecosystems, agent platforms, marketplaces, and go-to-market workflows. You will help shape how first-party, second-party, and third-party agents work together to deliver customer outcomes while creating new opportunities for ecosystem growth and monetization.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and execute the ecosystem strategy that supports HubSpot's Builder Platform vision, enabling developers, partners, and go-to-market builders to create solutions on and around HubSpot.
  • Shape how first-party, second-party, and third-party agents interact with HubSpot through APIs, MCP, and emerging agent frameworks.
  • Drive API parity initiatives so customers and partners can access HubSpot capabilities consistently through both UI and programmatic interfaces.
  • Partner closely with Data Platform, Partnerships, and Product Hub leaders to create a unified builder experience across HubSpot's intelligence, data, and work layers.
  • Develop monetization strategies for APIs, ecosystem products, and agent-powered experiences that support HubSpot's transition toward outcome-based and consumption-based business models.
  • Lead and develop a senior, multi-team product organization across platform, marketplace, and ecosystem experiences.
  • Build a seamless developer experience by improving API/MCP quality, documentation, tooling, governance, and platform reliability.
  • Define how developers, partners, and go-to-market builders create AI-powered applications, workflows, agents, and integrations that drive measurable customer outcomes.
  • Drive a best-in-class marketplace experience that enables customers to discover, evaluate, and adopt ecosystem solutions.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Developer Relations, Partnerships, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to embed ecosystem solutions into the flywheel.
  • Establish operating models, decision frameworks, and execution cadences that enable fast, data-driven ecosystem innovation.
  • Represent HubSpot externally with developers, partners, and industry leaders to shape ecosystem strategy and credibility.

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product management experience, including leadership of large, multi-team product organizations.
  • Proven success building and scaling developer platforms, APIs, app marketplaces, or ecosystem products serving large developer, partner, or builder communities.
  • Experience evolving platforms to support AI-powered workflows, agents, MCP-enabled experiences, or agent ecosystems.
  • Experience working with partner ecosystems, strategic integrations, marketplaces, or platform monetization models.
  • Track record of turning ecosystems into growth drivers that impact acquisition, retention, or revenue.
  • Strong perspective on AI, agents, platform ecosystems, and how agentic workflows change the design of developer platforms, marketplaces, and customer experiences.
  • Experience partnering with Developer Relations, developer communities, partner programs, or ecosystem-facing functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders at the executive level.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience with CRM, marketing, sales, or service ecosystems.
  • Background working closely with Developer Relations or similar functions.
  • External-facing experience (e.g., public speaking, developer community engagement).
  • Experience in high-growth SaaS environments where ecosystem strategy is core to differentiation.
