Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and reliability tooling. This role partners closely with engineering teams to improve delivery velocity, system resilience, and operational excellence for our cloud-native security platform.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting microservices-based architectures.
Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code.
Operate and scale Kubernetes clusters and supporting platform services.
Improve observability, monitoring, and alerting for production systems.
Partner with engineering teams to improve deployment reliability and reduce operational toil.
Implement security best practices across infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and production issues.
Participate in on-call rotations and incident response as needed.
People Manager Responsibility
This position does not have management responsibilities.
Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
7+ years of experience in DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container-based deployments.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Argo CD).
Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
Solid scripting or programming experience (Python, Bash, Go).
Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Sitting and / or standing - Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
Carrying and / or lifting - Must be able to carry / move laptop as needed throughout the work day.
Work Environment - Primarily remote, with occasional in-person presence as needed.
