Overview: Product Perfect is seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Engineer Consultant with expertise in NetSuite and extensive experience in SQL database development on the Microsoft Platform. As a freelance consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and solutions for database-related projects, particularly focused on accounting practices and principles within NetSuite. This role requires a deep understanding of general ledger practices, financial modeling, and proficiency in database management systems such as SQL Server and AzureSQL.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize NetSuite expertise to provide insights and solutions for accounting practices and principles.

• Design and develop SQL databases on the Microsoft Platform, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Create and maintain database models, table relationships, foreign/primary key constraints, and complex data requirements.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand accounting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Develop financial models using accounting tools and ensure accuracy and reliability of financial data.

• Generate accounting reports, reporting tools, and concepts to support business operations.

• Integrate NetSuite with other systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, Azure, and data connector software tools.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Proven experience working with NetSuite and a deep understanding of general ledger practices and principles.

• Extensive experience in SQL database development on the Microsoft Platform, with proficiency in SQL Server and AzureSQL.

• Strong database design skills, including the ability to create and model complex data structures.

• Financial modeling experience using accounting tools.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

• Experience with integration of NetSuite with other systems is preferred.

• NetSuite certification(s) is a plus.

Compensation:

• Negotiable rate based on experience and project scope.
