Senior Data Engineer

Developer Role and Responsibilities: In this role you will facilitate the delivery of process mining projects through the mobilization, definition, development, and deployment phases. Responsibilities will include translating data into informative visuals and reports,stakeholder management, and communication planning. Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata. Youwill work closely with our team of award-winning business and technical specialists and leaders.

Expected Activities:

• Connecting to data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence.

• Evaluate business needs and objectives.

• Interpret trends and patterns

• Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.

• Responsible for design methodology and project documentation.

• Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling. Test & fix data quality issues.

• Able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards.

• Commissioning and decommissioning of data sets.

• Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines.

• Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.

• Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.

• Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.

• Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability.

• Providing technical expertise on data storage structures, data mining, data cleansing and segmentation techniques.

Qualifications and Skills

• BE/B.Tech/MCA or other equivalent degree or other related fields. Besides that, one needs to have considerable work experience in similar fields.

• Experience of 5+ years in ETL, data preparation, data gateway and data warehousing projects.

• Experience of 5+ years and familiarity with Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack having Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS.

• Strong understanding of visual design for analytics.

• Evaluating complex data structures and expressions.

• Translate business challenges to data insights.

• 3 to 4 years of experience working with a self-service tool, preferably Power BI or Tableau.

• Familiarity with JavaScript, CSS, and other JavaScript libraries.

• Should be experienced in SQL.

• Good communication skills

• Prior knowledge on Data Mining or Process Mining would be an added advantage.

• Exposure to O2C & P2P domain would be an added advantage

• Should have knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis.

• Expertise in using advance level calculations on the data set.
