As part of our Engineering function, you will work closely with clients to translate complex business requirements into innovative digital products. Whether you are a Senior Engineer, Tech Lead, or DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with distributed teams, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to build secure, high-performance applications. Our Nearform engineers are known for building high quality, scalable solutions that solve real world problems.
About the Senior Data Analyst role
As a Senior Data Analyst your main responsibility will be analysing complex datasets to generate actionable insights, support business decision-making, and improve operational and customer experience outcomes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to interpret data, identify trends, and communicate findings through reporting and visualisation. However, as you’ll likely work across a variety of projects, your responsibilities may also include:
- Analysing large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
- Creating dashboards, reports, and data visualisations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Collaborating with product, engineering, operational, and clinical teams to define reporting requirements and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Supporting the development and optimisation of data models and data warehouse structures to improve analytical performance and scalability.
- Performing statistical analysis to support forecasting, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making.
- Translating business questions into analytical frameworks and delivering actionable recommendations based on data findings.
- Monitoring data quality and supporting governance processes to maintain reliable and accurate reporting.
- Working with cloud-based data platforms and warehousing solutions such as Snowflake to support analytics and reporting workflows.
- Supporting ETL and data transformation processes in collaboration with technical teams and data engineers.
- Communicating complex analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to prioritise analytical initiatives and align reporting with business objectives.
- Assisting with documentation, reporting standards, and best practices for scalable analytics processes.
- Working closely with client teams and cross-functional partners to support successful project delivery and measurable business outcomes.
What we are looking for in this person
- Significant experience delivering at Senior Data Analyst level.
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience analysing complex datasets and identifying actionable insights.
- Dashboarding and visualisation experience using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and data interpretation.
- Experience working with data models and cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake - highly desirable
- Knowledge of dbt and data transformation workflows
- Strong understanding of data quality and reporting best practices.
- Experience collaborating with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.
- Ability to translate data into clear business insights and recommendations.
- Experience working in agile and cross-functional environments.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Professional proficiency in English.
