Senior Data Analyst
About the Role
Caribou is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to be a key analytics partner for our Partnerships team, with opportunities to support Marketing as well. You’ll play a critical role in measuring performance, managing complex analytics processes, and turning data into actionable insights for stakeholders across the company.
A core responsibility of this role will be to own and manage a Python-based partner model. This includes preparing and QA’ing data inputs, running and analyzing outputs, and leading A/B testing across multiple models. You’ll also help maintain attribution logic, update dbt models that power reporting, and work with engineering to make sure partner integrations are set up correctly and data flows are reliable.
This is not just a reporting role. You’ll be expected to think critically, spot issues before others do, and independently drive analyses that answer tough questions from smart stakeholders. In this role, you will:
Partner with the Partnerships and Marketing teams to scope problems, design analyses, and present insights in a clear and actionable way
Conduct deep-dive analyses to evaluate acquisition, conversion, and efficiency trends
Build and maintain dashboards and reporting for Partnerships and Marketing KPIs
Own the end-to-end process for a partner-hosted Python model, including data prep, QA, troubleshooting, and performance analysis
Run A/B testing across models, analyze performance differences, and communicate findings
Maintain attribution mappings and update dbt models that support both internal dashboards and external partner files
Collaborate with engineering to ensure partner integrations (ie. APIs) are properly set up and that data flows are complete and accurate
Proactively identify opportunities for analytics to improve processes, performance, and decision-making
About You
Technical: 3–5 years in analytics, BI, or related roles with strong SQL and Python skills; comfortable using Python for wrangling data, running models, and troubleshooting workflows. Experience with dbt (or similar frameworks) and familiarity with tools like BigQuery, Looker Studio, or Google Analytics is a plus
Analytical: Proven ability to evaluate data critically, spot anomalies, run A/B tests, and compare model performance. Skilled at structuring complex problems and delivering clear, actionable insights
Stakeholder-facing: Comfortable working directly with Partnerships and Marketing stakeholders, including senior leaders, to understand problems, communicate findings, and influence decisions
Mindset: Thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift. You take ownership from start to finish, enjoy solving unstructured challenges, and make sure stakeholders trust both the process and the results
How we will take care of you
