What you’ll do
As a key member of the Content and Communications team that reports to the Editorial Lead, the Content Manager will play an important role in shaping the voice and direction of MetaMask and MetaMask Institutional (MMI) content marketing. The Content Manager will manage the MetaMask and MMI content calendar to ensure the quality, consistency, and accuracy of all content: product releases, MetaMask Learn, editorial features, thought leadership, and beyond. The ideal candidate has a strong editorial background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for storytelling in web3 and Ethereum communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage the MetaMask and MMI content calendar, ensuring timely publication of high-quality content.
Oversee the content creation process from ideation to publication, including writing, editing, and proofreading for all GTMs and for the MetaMask Learn platform.
Pitch creative ideas for articles you’ll author to grow and enrich MetaMask communities in alignment with editorial themes.
Stay informed of web3 wallet and macro industry trends and incorporate them into MetaMask and MMI strategies to achieve content relevancy.
Write and edit for a range of mediums: blogs, tutorials, case studies, video scripts, reports, newsletter/ emails, and web copy.
Collaborate with the Product , Product Marketing, Social Media, and other cross functional teams to align content with MetaMask and MMI business goals and initiatives as a key member of the GTM team.
Would be great if you brought this to the role
Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in content and marketing communication roles.
Proven track record of web3 writing in the form of a portfolio or individual samples.
Proven track record of managing an editorial calendar and leading content strategy.
On-chain footprint with deep, hands-on experience in web3 communities and as a user of blockchain technologies (ex:, DeFi, NFTs, Social, etc).
Strong editorial management skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for web3 storytelling.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Proficiency with web3 content management systems (CMS) like Mirror and Paragraph.
Experience working with a globally distributed and remote team, using tools like Zoom, Slack, Notion, Contentful, Mirror, Paragraph, and Google Suite.
Strong understanding of on-page SEO best practices.
Curiosity, persistent, and a self-starter.
Experience in public relations is a bonus but not required.
