We're looking for a Senior Compliance Officer to join our team on a 2-month full-time contractor engagement. If you're passionate about building and strengthening compliance and enterprise risk programs in a fast-growing fintech environment, we'd love to meet you.

About the Role

As our Senior Compliance Officer, you will lead Blossom's compliance and enterprise risk management programs, working closely with the CFO and cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, HR, Finance, Legal, and Operations. You'll oversee SOC 2 Type II and PCI DSS compliance initiatives, manage enterprise risk processes, coordinate external audits, and help embed compliance into every aspect of our business and product development.

This is a high-impact opportunity for a compliance professional with strong knowledge of U.S. regulatory frameworks who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced fintech environment.

Requirements

  • Must be currently located in Colombia.
  • 4+ years of experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit, or related roles.
  • Hands-on experience managing or supporting SOC 2 Type II audit programs.
  • Experience with PCI DSS compliance within fintech, payments, SaaS, or technology companies.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. regulatory frameworks such as FFIEC, GLBA, NCUA, and applicable data privacy regulations.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks, risk registers, controls inventories, and compliance policies.
  • Experience coordinating internal and external audits and managing remediation activities.
  • Experience partnering with Engineering and Product teams to integrate compliance into software development processes.
  • Experience using GRC platforms such as Drata, Vanta, LogicGate, ServiceNow GRC, or similar.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Legal Studies, or a related field.
  • Advanced English (C1 or higher).

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in fintech, financial services, payments, or SaaS companies.
  • Experience supporting organizations serving credit unions or other regulated financial institutions.
  • Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CCEP, CIPP, CFE, or equivalent.
  • Experience managing vendor risk assessments, business continuity, or disaster recovery initiatives.
  • Experience with Security Awareness and compliance training programs.
