Responsibilities:
Rare Beauty Brands is seeking a Senior Brand Manager to serve as the day-to-day owner of brand performance and in-market execution for one of our portfolio brands. This is a highly hands-on role for a brand leader who thrives in the details, enjoys partnering closely with Sales, and is energized by turning strategy into action.
The Senior Brand Manager is responsible for owning the annual brand plan in-market, managing a high volume of retailer and commercial requests, and ensuring the brand shows up powerfully and consistently across retail, social, ecommerce, and media. This role balances strategic thinking with executional leadership and requires someone who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to partner with multiple functions and deliver the business.
You will manage the Social Media team, and partner closely with Innovation, Sales, Ecommerce, Media, and Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Own Brand Performance & Annual Planning
Own execution of the annual brand plan and contribute to the Annual Business Review
Be accountable for brand performance against key commercial goals, including revenue and activation effectiveness
Monitor performance versus plan and flag risks, opportunities, and needed adjustments
Act as a steward of brand priorities, helping balance ambition with capacity
Lead In-Market Execution (Hands-On)
Own the in-market activation calendar, ensuring initiatives are well-prioritized, realistic and executed with excellence.
Lead day-to-day execution across
Retail Marketing Programs
Promotional Events and Seasonal Moments
Product Kits and fast-turn opportunities
Partner closely with Sales to respond to retailer requests
Translate Strategy Into Action
Partner with Innovation teams to bring new products and initiatives to market
Translate brand and innovation strategy into clear go-to-market plans
Provide market, retailer, and consumer feedback to inform brand and innovation decisions
Help reduce tactical burden on upstream teams by owning in-market delivery
Cross-Functional Brand Leadership
Serve as key “connector” across:
Social Media (content strategy, cadence, storytelling)
Ecommerce (DTC and Amazon alignment)
Media (campaign support and amplification)
Sales (retail priorities and execution)
Ensure all channels feel connected to one clear brand story
Potentially manage agency relationships
Lead the Social Media team
Directly manage the Social Media and Influencer/PR team
Set clear priorities, provide strong direction, and remove obstacles
What Success Looks Like
Brand plans are executed cleanly and on time
Retail and Sales partners feel supported, responsive, and well-aligned
The in-market calendar is focused and manageable
Brand activations feel cohesive, intentional, and commercially effective
Upstream innovation and strategy teams are freed from day-to-day execution
Priorities are clear, with proactive planning and commitments delivered smoothly
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in CPG brand management (beauty or skincare strongly preferred)
Proven experience managing in-market execution and retail-driven initiatives
Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
Strong cross-functional collaborator who can manage competing priorities
Organized, decisive, and resilient in fast-moving environments
Clear communicator who brings structure to complexity

Compensation
Competitive and commensurate with experience. $130k–$160k annually. This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors
The position is eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits, paid time off, and the Company’s 401k plan with match.
Work Environment
This is a fully remote role that requires standard computer-based work and frequent communication via video conferencing, email, and chat. Occasional travel (less than 10%) may be required for company meetings or events.
