Senior Backend Software Engineer - Teleport Policy

You will be joining engineering team of Teleport, unified access plane for SSH, Kubernetes and Database infrastructure.

This role will be working on Teleport Policy. The team is responsible for the design and implementation of Teleport Policy, a tool that provides Teleport users with insights and enhanced visibility into their infrastructure by visualizing access paths to cluster resources in a unified graph view with querying capabilities.

Nasdaq, SumoLogic and Samsung Electronics trust Teleport to secure access to their infrastructure.

Teleport is an open source project, written in Golang with web-based UIs in JavaScript with React.

Here are the projects you may be working on:

• Import of Teleport RBAC and AWS IAM into a unified representation.

• Implementing SQL-like query language for querying the access paths.

• Designing scalable graph UI that can display hundreds of resources while maintaining responsiveness and user-friendliness.

Requirements:

• Golang or Rust experience

• Linux systems engineering

• Cryptography engineering experience is a plus

$204,000 - $313,000 a year

The base salary range for new hires in this role is between $204,000 and $255,000 for a level 4, and between $212,000 and $313,000 for a level 5. The salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
