About the Role
As our Senior Backend Engineer at Typeform, you'll be responsible for integrating our native-AI product into our flagship product. Working closely with our wider Engineering and Product Teams, you’ll champion engineering excellence, as you create beautiful and secure features and functionalities for our customers, which enhances their user experience.
Things you will do:
Implementing changes in Typeform’s backend architecture and fine-tuning the interaction with the AI service, to ensure the integration of our standalone AI product into our core product.
Improve existing code bases to be more scalable and reliable
Proposing solutions to code or architectural problems in a high-traffic environment
Helping and training peers
Being part of an on-call rota to react to any alerts our monitoring system raises during and outside office hours.
What you already bring to the table:
Proven experience in a similar position within a B2B SaaS environment
University degree in a related field
Experience in a high-traffic distributed architecture
Experience writing architectural documentation
Experience with our core technologies: GoLang, Cloud providers, and Messaging systems
Excellent written and spoken English skills
Extra awesome:
Experience working in a remote company or a startup.
Previous working experience with Kafka, Terraform, Kubernetes, & Elasticsearch
Experience with GPT API and prompt engineering
