Overview: We’re looking for a talented Senior Consultant to help our customers gain tangible value from their data. Our consulting services emphasize analytics enablement, data visualization, data preparation, and data science. We specialize in Tableau, Power BI, Sigma, Omni, Looker, Alteryx, KNIME, Power Platform, and Snowflake.

 Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on project-based consulting engagements; help clients develop analytical requirements through prototyping and visualization

  • Manage clients' expectations by leading weekly status reports to clients; proactively solicit client feedback by running working sessions

  • Create reporting and data visualization solutions

  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and/or tune product performance or deployment issues when required

  • Support or assist with backlog support and development

  • Identify and recommend functionality and solutions to meet and enhance user requirements

  • Recommend best practices to optimize data models, reports, and overall platform architecture

Required Experience:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience and/or demonstrated expertise in data analytics and data visualization platforms in an enterprise environment

  • Strong data visualization skills using Looker, including LookML development, dashboard creation, and advanced visualization techniques.

  • Knowledge of related tools and technologies, such as Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, Omni, or dbt.

  • Data preparation experience using Alteryx or KNIME (or similar tools like Matillion, Dataiku, or Coalesce is a plus)

  • Demonstrated expertise in data fluency and communicating to business users 

  • Knowledge of SQL experience leveraging data warehouse, data marts, and/or data models

  • Exceptional customer facing skills, including outstanding communication skills and project management skills

  • Strong problem solving skills with a passion for learning and mastering new technologies, techniques, and procedures

Preferred Experience: 

  • 2+ years of Consulting experience.

  • Looker certification (LookML Developer or equivalent).

  • Expertise in Looker administration, including managing permissions, user access, security roles, and infrastructure setup.

  • Experience integrating Looker with other analytics platforms or embedding Looker in business applications.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Snowflake, GCP, AWS, Azure).

  • Previous experience leading teams of consultants to ensure performance, utilization and project delivery
