About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Sr. Deal Desk Analyst - AMER West to join our Deal Desk Team within the Business Operations function! You will play a critical role in supporting the AMER West region for Mid-Market and Enterprise Sales and provide occasional regional APAC support (PST) by leading the quote to contract’s deal execution cycle. We’re in a building and growth mode and seek an individual who is eager to roll up their sleeves to transform, shape and represent a world class Deal Desk team. You will report to the Senior Manager, Global Deal Desk and will be located PST (remote).

What You Will Do:

  • Deal Management - You will be responsible for managing the day-day review process of discount/margin review, approvals, deal structuring, configuring and troubleshooting quotes within Salesforce CPQ

  • Collaborative - You will own driving deal execution while collaborating and maintaining strong cross functional relationships with Finance, Legal, GTM, Partnerships, Customer Success and Sales on non-standard deal strategy

  • Trusted Advisor - You will be the subject matter expert to Sales to provide business intelligence, product knowledge, and pricing/margin guidance.

  • Data Integrity - You will support our GTM and Finance teams on reconciling Salesforce data hygiene and audit internal opportunity data for investor reporting

  • Enablement - You will own process and policy documentation and advise best practices while partnering with field enablement team to provide training material

  • Ship - You will identify opportunities to improve and automate processes, provide market trends and ship initiatives!

 

About You:

  • 4+ years of deal desk, pricing, quote to cash, order management, contract management or Revenue Operation/Sales Operation related function in technology

  • Experience working with cross functionally with Sales, Finance, Legal, Product etc

  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Excel

  • Excellent customer support and connected team player

  • Detail and process oriented

  • Critical thinker and analytical problem solver

  • Demonstrated project management and process improvements

  • SaaS/Tech company experience

 

Bonus If You:

  • Understanding of software revenue recognition issues, including revenue recognition under 606

  • Pre-IPO experience or experience at large enterprise company

  • Located within Bay Area
