Senior Agreement Specialist

ClinChoice, is searching for a Senior Agreement Specialist to join one of our partner companies, a large pharmaceutical company in USA. This is a permanent, remote role.

ClinChoice is a global full-service CRO with a strong focus on quality, professional development and supportive culture. As a client-facing role, we are looking for confident candidates with the ability to work independently whilst establishing a high-trust environment with the client counter-parts.  

 

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Draft and negotiate various types of contracts in support of our company’s research portfolio, including but not limited to Clinical Trial Agreements for early and late-stage studies, investigator-initiated study agreements, consulting agreements for scientific input, confidential disclosure agreements, clinical outcome assessment licensing and translation agreements.

  • Provide guidance and support to country operations teams and CRO partners on contract related matters.

  • Collaborate with the internal General Counsel to ensure contract terms and conditions align with company policies, legal requirements, and industry best practices and to develop strategies and provide recommendations for resolving complex contractual issues.

  • Analyze and mitigate potential risks associated with contract terms and negotiations.

  • Facilitate communication and knowledge sharing among cross-functional teams with respect to contracting activities.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of training programs and resources related to clinical site contracting and other supporting functions within scope of Global Site Agreements.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices, templates, and standardized processes for clinical site contracting.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, streamlining operations, and enhancing efficiency within the team and across cross-functional teams.

  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, including maintaining compliance with mandatory trainings and certifications.

  • Attend departmental meetings, cross functional team meetings, and participate in relevant discussions and decision-making processes.

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, legal, finance, and other stakeholders.

  • Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives, training sessions, and mentoring programs within the team and organization.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, at minimum, an Associate’s Degree with commensurate experience.

  • Five (5) years’ relevant experience in clinical operations with an Associate’s Degree; three years’ relevant experience in clinical operations with a Bachelor’s Degree.

  • Familiarity with clinical site contracting processes.

  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.

  • Strong leadership skills in a culturally diverse environment.

  • Team player and the ability to work independently.

  • Excellent analytical ability.

  • Strong computer skills, e.g. MS Office.

  • Good Clinical Practice certification/training (preferred).

  • PMP certification (preferred).

  • Experience with international Collaboration (preferred).

  • Sigma training (preferred).
