Lenders Cooperative seeks an SBA Servicing Analyst to support all post-closing loan activities by ensuring compliance with SBA SOPs, federal regulations, and lender policies while assisting with servicing actions such as modifications, deferments, assumptions, and liquidations. This role serves as a key liaison between lenders, borrowers, and internal teams, contributing to accurate reporting, process optimization, and seamless cross-department collaboration. The ideal candidate brings extensive SBA servicing experience, strong analytical and organizational skills, and a commitment to compliance, accuracy, and continuous improvement. What You’ll Do:
Compliance Assurance: Ensure all servicing actions comply with SBA SOPs, lender policies, and federal regulations, conducting regular audits and reviews as needed.
Process Optimization: Assist with developing and implementing efficient workflows and processes to enhance the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of servicing activities.
Loan Servicing: Assist with loan Servicing Actions and handle post-close loan reviews.
Borrower and Client Communication: Serve as a key contact for lenders and borrowers, ensuring clear communication and timely responses to servicing inquiries and requests.
SBA Reporting: Assist with the preparation and submission of required SBA reports, including loan status updates and servicing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with underwriting, closing, and other teams to ensure seamless transitions and address servicing-related concerns. Partner with the Head of SBA Servicing, the SBA Servicing Manager, and the SBA Portfolio Manager to ensure all post-closing loan requirements are handled compliantly and efficiently across the teams. Such shared responsibilities include, but are not limited to, 1502 reporting, payment processing, and various loan review routines.
Policy Updates and Training: Stay current with SBA policy updates and remain committed to ongoing training as required to adequately and compliantly support lenders and borrowers.
What We're Looking For:
You must live and work in the US.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field or equivalent relevant work experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in SBA loan servicing or related commercial loan servicing roles
Comprehensive knowledge of various servicing guidelines, SOP requirements, and federal compliance standards
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple and continuously shifting priorities
Proficiency with loan servicing systems, reporting tools, and document management platforms
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing and handling servicing activities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex servicing issues and improve processes
Familiarity with SBA liquidation processes
Commitment to staying informed on SBA policy updates and fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement
