The Opportunity
The Salesforce Senior Administrator is a platform expert and collaborative problem-solver at the intersection of technical delivery and business enablement. This person configures complex solutions independently while partnering with non-technical stakeholders to define, articulate, and prioritize needs.
Created to support FICO's Legal team, the role centers on our Salesforce-based Contract Lifecycle Management solution powered by Conga. Legal needs a trusted partner who can translate process challenges into well-architected solutions, write requirements, evaluate options, and guide work through agile delivery. In practice, this means owning tickets spanning technical configuration and business analysis: gathering context, facilitating conversations, drafting requirements, and bridging Legal's needs with the broader GTM Systems team.
Success requires initiative, accountability, strong communication, and the ability to manage competing priorities. Enthusiasm for AI tools, including Claude Enterprise, will set you apart.
What You’ll Contribute
- Serve as the primary Salesforce and CLM subject-matter expert and hands-on builder for FICO's Legal team, owning the full cycle from stakeholder discovery and requirements through configuration, testing, and deployment, including spike tickets end-to-end.
- Help Legal stakeholders define and articulate their needs: leading discovery sessions, documenting requirements, drafting user stories and acceptance criteria, and owning the build through to delivery.
- Design, configure, and deliver Salesforce and Conga CLM solutions including flows, automation, object and page layout design, permission and security model changes, and CLM template and workflow configuration; build POCs to evaluate feasibility and present options before committing to full builds.
- Manage and support the CLM backlog in partnership with Legal stakeholders and the Scrum Master: grooming enhancements, triaging and troubleshooting defects, and balancing quick wins against larger initiatives.
- Serve as the first line of support for Salesforce and CLM-related questions and issues from the Legal team.
- Partner with cross-department stakeholders and internal IT counterparts on process and system improvements spanning Salesforce Sales Cloud, Conga CLM, and related enterprise platforms.
- Investigate and evaluate AI-powered legal intelligence requirements for potential integration with FICO's CLM and Salesforce environment, providing recommendations to leadership.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives as an active member of the agile delivery team; author and manage work items in Jira.
- Use Gearset, DemandTools, and FICO's CI/CD processes to manage deployments, sandbox environments, change governance, and CLM data; actively leverage Claude Enterprise and FICO's AI tools to accelerate work and model strong AI habits for the team.
What We’re Seeking
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (current certification required); additional certifications such as Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, or other Salesforce credentials strongly preferred.
- Hands-on Salesforce administration experience with demonstrated ability to design and implement solutions independently; strong subject-matter expertise in Sales Cloud including Account and Contact Management, Opportunity Management, Reporting and Dashboards, data structures, security models, permission sets, and profiles.
- Experience with Conga CLM (formerly Apttus CLM), configuring contract templates, clause libraries, workflow/approval processes, and supporting end-users through contract lifecycle workflows.
- Business analyst experience facilitating requirements-gathering sessions with non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into clear solution designs, and documenting requirements in a format ready for development.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies; familiarity with authoring and managing user stories and acceptance criteria in JIRA or a similar Agile toolset.
- Strong testing discipline, including the ability to design test plans, execute regression testing, and coordinate user acceptance testing with business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings, translate fluently between technical and non-technical audiences, and manage concurrent priorities with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Experience in AI-powered legal intelligence platforms such as Harvey or Ivo, enterprise AI tools such as Claude Enterprise, and/or Salesforce DevOps tooling such as Gearset are strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Revenue Cloud, Experience Cloud, Agentforce, Einstein AI, integration middleware (Informatica or OIC), with a background in Legal, Procurement, or Contract Management is preferred.
Our Offer to You
- An inclusive culture strongly reflecting our core values: Act Like an Owner, Delight Our Customers and Earn the Respect of Others.
- The opportunity to make an impact and develop professionally by leveraging your unique strengths and participating in valuable learning experiences.
- Highly competitive compensation, benefits and rewards programs that encourage you to bring your best every day and be recognized for doing so.
- An engaging, people-first work environment offering work/life balance, employee resource groups, and social events to promote interaction and camaraderie.
- The targeted base pay range for this role is: $105,000 to $165,000 with this range reflecting differences in candidate knowledge, skills and experience.
