As a Salesforce Developer and Administrator, you will engage in the full software development lifecycle, working in a team environment. Your primary responsibilities will include developing, customizing, and managing our Salesforce environment. This role requires a mix of 70% Salesforce development and 30% business analysis tasks.

The ideal candidate has a customer-centric mindset and collaborates daily with internal teams. You have a strong understanding of sales and support processes and use Salesforce products to optimize these processes. You are skilled in Salesforce data management tools, Excel, communication, problem-solving, and time management. Additionally, you can handle the fast-paced, stressful nature of a sales environment.

Location: Remote in the United States of America

Responsibilities:

  • Salesforce Developer (70%):

  • Implement declarative salesforce principals to Design, develop, customize, and manage Lightning Components, Flows, Visualforce, Apex Classes, Apex Controllers, and Triggers.

  • Integrate Salesforce with other applications using REST and SOAP APIs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Perform code reviews, debug issues, and ensure the quality and performance of solutions.

  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and the full software development lifecycle.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation and stay updated with Salesforce features and releases.

  • Participate in technical planning and requirements gathering phases including Design, code, test, troubleshoot, and document engineering software applications.

  • Work closely with the Product Owner and Scrum Master to prioritize and estimate user stories and tasks.

  • Handle some administration, configuration, and support tasks, including user management and system maintenance related to development work.

  • Monitor system performance and ensure data integrity.

  • Provide end-user support and training and implement and manage integrations with other systems.

  • Identify and implement process improvements and handle support requests.

  • Proficient with object-ordinated databases, methodology, and practices.

Business Analysis (Customer Success/Sales) (30%):

  • Critical thinking and ideation with key business stakeholders

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.

  • Document and communicate the vision and strategy for the Salesforce platform in alignment with the organization's business goals.

  • Prioritize initiatives and features to maximize business value.

Knowledge, Education, & Experience:

  • Good understanding and proven experience with both front-end and back-end development using Lightning Web Components, Apex, JS, HTML/CSS, etc.

  • Ensure that technical software development process is followed on the project, familiar with industry best practices for software development.

  • Experience designing and implementing external facing applications

  • Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills. Ability to assimilate disparate information (log files, error messages etc.) and pursue leads to find root cause problems.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 2-3 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer and/or Administrator.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce development tools and languages, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.

  • Knowledge of Salesforce configuration, workflows, process builders, validation rules, and security settings.

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Salesforce Developer and/or Administrator certifications.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I & II, Administrator, and Advanced Administrator.

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools.

  • Knowledge of other programming languages and web development frameworks.

  • Experience with Salesforce, Sales & Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud

  • Experience with Service Now preferred

  • Understanding and familiarity with cloud-based architectures, principals and industry. 

  • You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, ensuring smooth operation and administration of the Salesforce CRM platform while developing scalable solutions. This role is ideal for a passionate coder with a solid grasp of Salesforce capabilities and a collaborative mindset.

The following information is required by pay transparency legislation in the following states: CA, CO, HI, NY, and WA. This information applies only to individuals working in these states.

The anticipated starting pay range for Colorado is: $116,100 – $170,280

The anticipated starting pay range for the states of Hawaii and New York (not including NYC) is: $123,600 – $181,280

The anticipated starting pay range for California, New York City, and Washington is: $135,300 – $198,440

Unless already included in the posted pay range and based on eligibility, the role may include variable compensation in the form of bonuses, commissions, or other discretionary payments. These discretionary payments are based on company and/or individual performance and may change at any time. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location.
