Purpose of Position:

The Salesforce Architect will lead the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and efficient. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and guiding the development team to deliver high-quality solutions.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

Platform Management & System Ownership

•Lead the overall management and enhancement of the Salesforce platform, ensuring optimal performance across all modules (Sales Cloud, CPQ, Service Cloud, Community).

•Oversee system changes, including configuration updates, integration adjustments, and new feature rollouts.

•Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, configurations, and customizations to ensure clarity and ease of maintenance.

•Ensure platform security and compliance with relevant data protection and privacy standards.

Solution Architecture & New Design Development

•Collaborate with leadership and regional teams to understand business requirements, translating them into scalable Salesforce solutions.

•Design and implement new system architectures, workflows, and integrations to improve efficiency and user experience.

•Develop innovative solutions to meet emerging business needs, providing clear documentation and guidance to development teams.

•Continuously evaluate and recommend platform enhancements, leveraging Salesforce updates and new functionalities.

Leadership & Team Management

•Manage and mentor a team of Salesforce developers and engineers, setting clear expectations and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

•Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing within the team.

•Ensure timely delivery of system updates and project milestones, coordinating with global and regional teams to meet business timelines.

Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

•Serve as the primary point of contact for Salesforce-related queries, updates, and strategic planning discussions.

•Provide regular updates to executive leadership, highlighting system performance, upcoming changes, and recommendations for future enhancements.

•Gather and prioritize feedback from users across regions, ensuring the platform aligns with business needs and drives user satisfaction.

Primary Stakeholders:

  • Global Sales Enablement and Process Lead

  • Regional Sales and Support Teams

  • Executive Leadership Team

  • Salesforce Development/Engineering Team

  • Data and Analytics Team

Knowledge and Experience - Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years in Salesforce product management, solution architecture, or technical product ownership roles, with deep experience in Sales Cloud, CPQ, Service Cloud, and Community.

  • Proven experience in designing and managing Salesforce architecture and developing scalable solutions.

  • Strong technical knowledge of Salesforce tools, development processes, and platform integrations.

  • Ability to lead and mentor development teams, with strong project management and organizational skills.

Knowledge and Experience - Desired:

  • Exceptional communication skills, able to translate technical details into clear insights for stakeholders.

  • Salesforce Architect, Advanced Administrator, or related Salesforce certifications are a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Travel:

  • Up to 20% travel, predominantly domestic.

Additional Information:

  • Candidates can work remotely from anywhere in the United States or Canada, aside from required travel
