Job Summary
The future is bright for the Porch Group, and we’d love for you to be a part of it as our Salesforce Administrator.
As a Mid-level Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Administrator 2, you’ll play a vital role at Porch. We are looking for a proactive individual that can help us continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform, gathering requirements and feedback, designing scalable best practice solutions, and managing the product road map. Our Salesforce user experience is of great importance to us, therefore the Salesforce Administrator should enjoy all aspects of user management including support tickets, training, and designing solutions with user satisfaction a priority.
We are looking for someone with a good understanding of the Salesforce platform, who can understand both our current setup and our business objectives, in order to quickly identify areas of improvement. The Salesforce Administrator should be comfortable with change management and governance, as well as communicating, prioritizing and managing all aspects of a Salesforce project. The ideal candidate will be happy liaising with stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to translate technical information into layman’s terms, clearly explaining design options and their potential impact.
What You Will Do As A Salesforce Administrator
Manage user and license setup/deactivation, permissions, roles, and sharing rules.
Implement Salesforce configuration changes (e.g., workflows, Process Builder, Flow, fields, reports, etc.).
Manage sandbox environments and perform proactive system maintenance (e.g., Security Reviews, Release Updates).
Gather requirements to design scalable, user-friendly Salesforce solutions.
Maintain and update tickets within the Agile framework using JIRA.
Enhance data management and improve Salesforce data quality through automation.
Monitor and drive user adoption, provide ongoing training, and manage user support tickets.
Communicate platform updates to users and stakeholders.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Collaborate with integrated applications (e.g., Calendly, Tableau, marketing automation tools).
What You Will Bring As A Salesforce Administrator
Bachelor’s degree, or four years of equivalent work experience.
4+ years of experience as a System Administrator, with at least 3 years of Salesforce Administration hand-on experience with Sales Cloud.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce products and features; certified Salesforce Administrator with Trailhead Badges.
Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions and manage change.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and training skills.
Experience in governance, technical documentation, and end-user support.
Proactive and responsive approach to platform enhancements.
Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Advanced Amin, Platform App Builder) are a plus.
Proven experience working with US based business teams.
Excellent written and communication skills, both English and Hindi.
Ability to work within core US business hours / time zone expectations - Eastern Standard Time (EST) overlap.
