About You:

The Retail Sales and Education Executive candidate has a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in beauty, working and traveling within a designated market - Orange County, CA. The schedule for this role is: Tuesday - Saturday, and it requires someone to be in-office 1 day per month (Tuesday). 

You understand the importance of building strong relationships, and possess the ability to deliver/exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales plans, while communicating and collaborating daily with internal teams. Ideally, this candidate is experienced in the hair and wellness space, with a deep understanding of an open-sell and multi-branded environment.   

Responsibilities:

  • Daily management of product sell out and education to achieve weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual targets.

  • Work closely with Regional Sales Manager, to drive seasonal marketing and event programs, raising brand awareness, and new customer acquisition. 

  • Effectively launch and drive brand awareness, while maintaining day to day business.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and communicate them to the Regional Sales Manager to ensure Nutrafol can succeed in a competitive ever-changing retail environment

  • Closely monitor promotions, events and activations with the Regional Sales Manager. 

  • Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to provide retailer selling reports, new product launch retail analysis and product assortment & event callouts influencing retail sales YOY

  • Work with the Regional Sales Manager to train and execute at gondola seasonal training and education.

  • Possess a solid understanding of financial metrics and company KPI’s to provide weekly/monthly reporting and feedback to the Regional Sales Manager.

  • Ability to communicate in all mediums including e-mail, in person meetings and online calls.

  • Must have extensive and recent knowledge of the open sell, multi branded environment, client profile, staff profile, and retailer specific events.

  • Outstanding ability to build strong partnerships and foster teamwork in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

  • Positive, independent, energetic, driven, motivated, hard worker.

  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.

  • Ability to analyze complex issues and to develop relevant and actionable plans, programs and recommendations.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills.

  • Proven leadership skills and ability to work across cross-functionally, including e-commerce, marketing, education and planning.

  • Must have strong time management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to prepare annual YOY business reviews via Word/Excel and PowerPoint 

  • Ability to manage inventories and retailer expectations, in the best interest of the overall company goals

  • Ability to work in tandem with Operation and Visual teams in-store, and communicate needs effectively with Regional Manager.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience with an in-house beauty/hair brand, including representing the brand in store at Sephora locations 

  • Knowledge and experience working with haircare and supplements is a plus

  • Experience building retailer relationships through professional communication, finding interpersonal opportunities and demonstrating an ability to drive retail performance

  • Must possess intermediate skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Docs 

  • A working knowledge of designated territory in Orange County, CA

  • Work week is Tuesday - Saturday, which is subject to change, pending business needs 

  • A personal vehicle and valid driver’s license is required for this role

  • Ability to travel 50-70% of the time in car/plane in designated regional territory, plus additional company travel to NYC for meetings as needed
