We are seeking an experienced individual contributor to join the Emburse GTM team as a sales commissions analyst and admin. This role is responsible for administering commissions and incentive payments. The role will partner with Business Leadership, Finance, Sales Operations, HR, and Payroll to ensure commission calculation logic and data in the commission tool are implemented accurately and according to approved commission plans. This role will also be responsible for addressing employee commission inquiries, performing validations, and obtaining required approvals. This position is critical in ensuring the Sales Compensation plans are executed as designed.
The Commissions Administrator is responsible for administering the company's commissions program using Spiff. This includes setting up and managing commission plans, calculating and issuing commissions, and resolving any issues that may arise. The ideal candidate will have strong financial and analytical skills, as well as experience with commission programs and Spiff.
What you'll do:
Set up and manage commission plans, including defining goals, setting rates, and tracking performance
Provide input to the Comp plan design, led by GTM leadership (CRO & Rev Ops) and Finance
Administer compensation plans and commission calculations in SPIFF Commission Tool
Calculate and issue commissions on a timely basis
Maintain and manage high volume of commission data inputs: Participant information, Credit Rules, Manual exceptions in SPIFF and more
Provide support and training to sales team members on the commission program
Maintain accurate records of all commission transactions
Stay up-to-date on the latest commission trends and best practices
Provide input and recommendations for streamlining processes and making process improvements
Answer and resolve commission dispute tickets

What we're looking for:
A location within driving distance to our Portland, Maine office is preferred
Military, Associates or Bachelors Degree
3 - 5 years of relevant Commission, or Sales Ops experience, preferably in the technology industry
Advanced MS Excel skills, Knowledge of SPIFF Commission preferred
Proficient in manipulating systems tools and large amounts of data
Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented, growing, market-leading technology company
Flexibility to change in a dynamic environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively across multiple functions and with varied levels of management
Superior quantitative and analytical skills
Highly motivated self-starter who can work independently or collaborate as part of a team
Results-driven and comfortable handling multiple deadlines
