Regional Vice President - Mid-Market (Central US/Western Canada)

The Basics:

The successful Regional Vice President of Mid-Market drives a regional sales team of 8-10 Mid-Market 'Director of Strategic Accounts' (DSAs) to success, by delivering technology solutions tailored to customer needs, while meeting/beating their assigned revenue targets.

What you'll do:

  • · Personally oversee and serve as the primary sales leader for regional accounts in Central US and Western Canada.  Manage a team of up to 10 DSAs.

  • · Work with Tanium Partner and Channel resources to develop and prepare an actionable strategic sales plan for each named regional account.

  • · Maintain awareness and status of all key regional contractual obligations, facilitating customer meetings and communications regarding deliverables.

  • · Accurate and timely forecasting, hands-on mentoring, and leading from the front. 

  • · Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing sales talent.

We're looking for someone with:

  • · Enthusiasm and passion to coach/mentor a team of high-powered mid-market sellers.   

  •   Software sales expertise and strong relationships with mid-market companies, across all verticals.

  • · Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, for both internal and external audiences.

  • · 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience selling complex SaaS solutions to named accounts.

  • · 2+ years of proven sales leadership experience with a reputable high-growth software company.

  • · Deep knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape and/or network operations space.

  • · Proven history of exceptional quota attainment by driving successful collaboration across all internal stakeholders throughout the sales cycle.

  • · Knowledge and passion for consistently reporting metrics and closing deals to hit revenue targets.

  • · Extensive value selling experience to C-suite audiences and solid relationships with decision-makers from a wide customer base.

  • · Superb organizational skills, coupled with a 'Whatever IT Takes' attitude and motivation to deliver above-quota performance.

  • · Education: BS/BA degree or equivalent experience preferred

What you'll get

This full-time position's annual base salary range is $90,000 - $270,000. This range is an estimate of what Tanium will pay a new hire. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience.

In addition to an annual base salary, team members will receive equity awards and a generous benefits package consisting of a medical, dental, and vision plan, family planning benefits, health savings account, flexible spending account, transportation savings account, 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match, life, accident, and disability coverage, business travel accident insurance, employee assistance programs, disability insurance, and other well-being benefits.
