 Labcorp is seeking a REMOTE RCM Quality Administrative Team Lead to join our team!

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm EST

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong, positive working relationships with team members and OPEM stakeholders.

  • Ensure clear, professional, and timely communication across the department, particularly related to OPEM initiatives and expectations.

  • Maintain a positive, adaptable attitude during organizational, OPEM, or process changes.

  • Manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Monitor team performance, productivity, and workflow related to OPEM quality standards.

  • Perform audits of team members’ work and provide timely, constructive feedback aligned with OPEM requirements.

  • Facilitate departmental calibration sessions to ensure consistent application of OPEM processes and scoring standards.

  • Serve as a resource by providing hands‑on guidance, clarification, and calibration support for OPEM‑related work.

  • Support performance observations and audits of processes and individual work within the OPEM framework.

  • Assist the supervisor with planning and preparation of weekly touchpoint materials, including OPEM metrics and trends.

  • Respond to emails and internal requests within a 48‑hour turnaround time (TAT).

  • Provide support for departmental and OPEM reporting, documentation, and data‑tracking tasks.

  • Perform additional duties assigned to support OPEM and departmental objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED with three or more years healthcare billing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two or more years experience with OPEM functions, initiatives, or reporting

  • Two or more years Labcorp RCM experience

  • Two or more years RCM Quality assurance, auditing, or performance improvement experience

  • Two or more years of Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel or mPower)

Additional Job Standards:

  • Strong understanding of OPEM processes, metrics, and quality expectations.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly convey expectations, results, and feedback.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain professional rapport across cross‑functional teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze performance trends and support quality improvement efforts.

  • Exceptional problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and consistent follow‑up.

  • Ability to provide constructive coaching and feedback in a professional, supportive manner

The RCM Quality Team Lead serves as a lead professional (non‑exempt, non‑supervisory) providing operational and quality support to the OPEM (Operational Performance & Excellence Management) group within the Revenue Cycle Management department. This role focuses on monitoring quality and workflow, facilitating calibration, providing guidance and feedback, and supporting reporting and performance initiatives. The Team Lead acts as a subject‑matter resource for OPEM processes and standards and supports leadership in driving consistency and continuous improvement.

Pay Range:    $19-24/hr

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
