Role description

As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery and maintenance of KOHO as a high-quality product. Your responsibilities will include overseeing and analyzing weekly release-related testing results, coordinating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues, and driving continuous improvement from a quality perspective. This person should have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional quality.

Role responsibilities

  • Create and maintain documentation related to testing standards, processes, and protocols

  • Monitor product quality and testing processes to ensure a high quality standard and identify areas for improvement

  • Work closely with product and mobile development teams to coordinate weekly mobile releases

  • Ensure that all quality-related deliverables to support weekly mobile releases are completed in a timely manner by performing release tasks directly as well as following up with relevant stakeholders on their functions

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and mitigate bugs and any other potential blockers associated with weekly releases 

  • Pair with technical teams to investigate and reproduce bugs as necessary

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product and service quality, such as reducing the number of bugs found in release testing over time and/or improving our usage of quality-related tools and services (e.g. Mobot)

Role requirements

  • Familiar with manual testing fundamentals

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy

  • Skilled at communication and stakeholder management 

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

  • Comfortable learning new tools, platforms, and processes

  • Key tools: Jira, Sentry, Lokalise, CircleCI, GitHub, Saucelabs
