Role description
As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery and maintenance of KOHO as a high-quality product. Your responsibilities will include overseeing and analyzing weekly release-related testing results, coordinating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues, and driving continuous improvement from a quality perspective. This person should have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional quality.
Role responsibilities
Create and maintain documentation related to testing standards, processes, and protocols
Monitor product quality and testing processes to ensure a high quality standard and identify areas for improvement
Work closely with product and mobile development teams to coordinate weekly mobile releases
Ensure that all quality-related deliverables to support weekly mobile releases are completed in a timely manner by performing release tasks directly as well as following up with relevant stakeholders on their functions
Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and mitigate bugs and any other potential blockers associated with weekly releases
Pair with technical teams to investigate and reproduce bugs as necessary
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product and service quality, such as reducing the number of bugs found in release testing over time and/or improving our usage of quality-related tools and services (e.g. Mobot)
Role requirements
Familiar with manual testing fundamentals
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
Skilled at communication and stakeholder management
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Comfortable learning new tools, platforms, and processes
Key tools: Jira, Sentry, Lokalise, CircleCI, GitHub, Saucelabs
