Weare seekingan experiencedSenior QA Engineerto join one of our Product teams at Rain. Inthis role, you will establishQA processes, executecomprehensivetesting strategies and collaboratewith thePrincipal QA to expand ourqualitymethodologies across the organization. Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and optimize the team QA processes

  • Activelyparticipate in business and tech refinement sessions to ensurerequirements, acceptance criteria and definitionsof done are well-defined and actionable

  • Implement and integrateourautomationtools intoteam workflows

  • Lead and mentor teammembers tofosteraculture of quality ownership acrossall disciplines

  • Defining test plans, test cases and test data to be used for both automated and manual testing

  • Understanding of product requirements and how they are implemented across our services, tools and applications

  • Ownership of automation efforts for functional and non-functional tests, designing, writing and maintaining test automation scripts and test suites

  • Identify, create and share new automation tools, reusable test data frameworks to maintain and improve the software testing life cycle

  • Record, report, verify and possibly resolve issues found

  • Work and collaborate within a team composed by a product manager, software developers and other QA engineers on test automation and coverage for new features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proven work experience in QA and strong knowledge of the software QA process

  • Programming logic and use of scripts for test automation

  • Experience in mobile app testing using devices and simulators in Android and iOS.

  • Experience in automation tools like Appium, Playwright, UIAutomator, XCUITest, Espresso

  • Experience in proxy tools like Charles Proxy, Proxyman, Wireshark

  • Experience in API testing using Postman, RestAssurance and others

  • Proficient in writing test scenarios, perform end to end and do regressions tests.

  • Excellent English communication skills. Rain has global teams and all communication is in English.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with design validation like metrics, components and accessibility thinking

  • Experience in web app testing using different browsers and responsive web design

  • Experience in performance tests and meters validation
