Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing automated tests for both backend and web frontend testing. They should have a strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and practices with a proven track record of developing and executing automated tests. This position requires experience in manual and automation testing, knowledge of basic Java, DB Queries and API testing, Postman

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests for both API and web frontend testing

• Collaborate with the development team to identify test scenarios and develop automated test scripts

• Develop test plans and test cases

• Work with the team to identify and prioritize issues and communicate results to stakeholders

• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks

• Perform API testing using tools like Postman

• Verify data quality in databases by running SQL queries

• Monitor application performance and provide recommendations to improve performance

• Develop test reports and communicate testing progress to the project team

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in manual and automation testing(API and web frontend)

• Basic programming in Java

• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman

• Strong knowledge of databases and SQL

• Experience in backend and web frontend testing

• Knowledge of servers and networking

• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
