As an IT Quality Assurance Engineer on our Navisphere Vision team, you will use your passion for technology and strong customer service orientation to support our Supply Chain Visibility product. Our team is comprised of people who are passionate about delivering world - class products. In our agile environment, the IT Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for collaborating with engineering product managers and software engineers to test our applications and make sure quality is at the forefront of our development practices.

IT QA Engineer is expected to act as a quality assurance champion and is responsible for all processes, procedures, tooling, and outcomes related to testing our application code for deployment. You will be responsible for helping establish testing frameworks and best practices in quality assurance for any partnering application development teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute strategy for moving from Manual to Automated testing practices
  • Define, document, and maintain quality assurance plans and test cases by analyzing business and technical requirements
  • Log and track application issues in agile backlog for the development team to address
  • Work within a team to manage testing in an agile environment
  • Develop and maintain test automation tools, test data, frameworks, and infrastructure
  • Execute automated system and integration tests to ensure software meet quality standards
  • Provide innovative ideas and solutions in an ever-changing environment
  • Provide technical estimates related to testing
  • Prepare and execute manual test scripts, document test results, and maintain test cases as needed
  • Participate in daily Stand-Up meetings, Sprint Demonstrations, Retrospectives, and Sprint Planning

Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience with writing scalable end-to-end test cases
  • 3+ years of experience testing web applications
  • 3+ years of experience developing automated system and performance tests
  • Intermediate level knowledge of a QA tool like Selenium and Puppeteer for web-based UI validation
  • Intermediate knowledge of a Version Control system (Git, GitHub, etc.)
  • Beginner-level knowledge of a test case management tool (such as Jira, Azure DevOps, HP Quality Center, etc.)
  • Intermediate knowledge of JavaScript, Node, and C#
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and a high school diploma/GED

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience writing API acceptance tests with one or more of the following tools: Postman, WebdriverIO, JSON, Fiddler
  • Experience with Kafka or ESB
  • General technical solution architecture and debugging
  • Working in an environment with continuous integration/continuous delivery
  • Experience with cross browser/platform testing (SauceLabs, BrowserStack, etc)
  • Experience writing performance tests with one or more of the following tools: JMeter, BlazeMeter, Fiddler
  • Experience testing mobile applications
  • Experience working in Agile environment
  • Experience in Supply Chain/Logistics
  • High initiative with a strong desire to learn new concepts, processes, and technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to overcome challenges and achieve desired results
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, support, and consulting requests
  • Experience mentoring other team members on the proper use of automation test suites
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter and able to work with minimal direction
  • Values a diverse and inclusive work environment
