At MyFitnessPal, you’ll have the opportunity to spend 10 weeks with our Marketing Team and work on projects that directly impact our product and users.

As a Public Relations Intern, you will play a crucial role in generating brand awareness for MyFitnessPal by helping build relationships with key stakeholders in the nutrition and health space! Your goal will be to support the global PR team in building brand equity by helping us grow our network of registered dietitians and medical professionals, interacting with media, and contributing to campaigns that help shape our brand story. 

While your focus will be on the responsibilities listed below, you will also have the opportunity to flex your PR skills to support other marketing functions at MyFitnessPal as needed.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support the development and execution of PR campaigns and strategies 

  • Assist in coordinating media interviews, partnership meetings, media events, and consumer activations 

  • Conduct research on and outreach to potential brand partners for PR-first partnerships 

  • Build out our community of registered dietitians and medical professionals for media interviews, satellite media tours, and media events

  • Remain informed on industry trends, monitoring coverage to uncover newsjacking moments 

  • Assist with weekly and monthly reporting

  • Live our core values in all you do:

Qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Be a current, full-time college student with at least one academic term remaining following an internship at MyFitnessPal. The following students are generally eligible:

    • Undergraduate students graduating between December 2025 and May 2026 (rising Juniors or Seniors)

    • Students completing their master’s degree between December 2025 and May 2026

    • Full Time MBA students between the 1st and 2nd year of their program

  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail, display comfort working in cross functional settings

  • Results-oriented and willing to roll up your sleeves

  • Convey a can-do, positive attitude towards tackling problems and are able to see other points of view

  • Reliable access to the internet and comfortable in a remote working environment
