Position Summary:

The Provisioning Specialist L1 ensures timely delivery of orders and proactively communicates with our partners when orders encounter delays. They follow processes for manual provisioning and known API errors, as well as communicate with internal and external stakeholders. The Specialist learns new skills on the job and documents processes.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Resolve API errors on automated orders and communicate with vendors and stakeholders to resolve errors and order placement or adjustments

  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders the reason for any delays and set expectations for resolution

  • Follow processes to manually provision orders for a sub-set of products

  • Study Pax8 Platform functionality to acquire knowledge and eventually become a subject matter expert and escalation point

  • Document solutions of any new errors

  • Isolate, replicate, and report defects to the appropriate teams; perform production level API testing

  • Work through larger data or ordering projects

  • Be a co-pilot to new hires by training them on processes and being a direct point of contact for initial questions

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • At least two (2) years of experience in a technical and/or customer service environment

  • Creative problem-solving skills combined with the ability to provide quick resolution to problems

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to communicate with customers, vendors, and internal sales professionally by phone, email, and chat

  • Quick to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to cultivate positive working relationships with customers and coworkers

Recommended Education & Certifications:

  • B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience

Compensation:

  • Qualified candidates can expect a compensation range of $38,000 to $48,000 or more depending on experience.
