Project Staffing Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Leading and coordinating discussions on assigning available staff to projects by their skill sets, previous experience, career development, and availability.

• Project support: Working closely with project managers and assisting them with any staffing needs.

• Sales support: Working closely with the business development team and providing availability information following the deals’ needs

• Capacity planning: Knowing all the current and upcoming projects run in an organization and business development activities and being able to plan to staff accordingly.

• Monitoring and managing staff workload and utilization.

• Managing allocation conflicts.

• Overcoming staff shortages: reallocating, assigning more staff, etc; informing senior management of any issues related to the inability to meet clients’ needs due to scheduling.

• Supporting project managers when it comes to staff management issues or improving staffing processes.

• Preemptively identifying risks in project staffing and providing solutions and countermeasures.

• Manage staffing information in relevant systems/tools

• Planning, requesting, and monitoring staff availability
