What You'll Be Doing
Ensure the ongoing accuracy of our trail data
Manage a team of contractors also working on trail data in Australia, New Zealand, and other select international markets
Coordinate research tasks with your teammates and self-pilot through each sprint
Provide feedback on the quality of the product delivered to Australia & New Zealand users
Assist with QA testing
Requirements:
Local knowledge of Australia or New Zealand hiking and/or biking trails is highly preferred
Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States
Bachelor’s degree
Strong writing and communication skills
Detail oriented and organized
Capable of prioritizing tasks to identify the highest leverage opportunities
Ability to focus for long stretches at a time on a single task
Self motivation and a deep sense of pride in your work
Curiosity, humility, empathy, and open-mindedness
Passion about mobile technologies and AllTrails’ mission to connect people to the outdoors
Bonus Points:
Proficiency in multiple languages
Mapping/GIS experience
Proven ability to quickly learn new technology and processes
Basic SQL
$70,000 - $80,000 a year
A successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on various factors such as skills, experience, training, and credentials, as well as other business purposes or needs. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range of their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors and circumstances of each case
