**This position is 100% remote for candidates based in the US**
The EDB engineering team is growing and we’re looking for an experienced Program Manager to join our 100% remote team. We need a skilled and empathetic individual to grow our team into a delivery powerhouse. You will focus your time on facilitating and implementing complex project plans across multiple stakeholders and teams, helping understand how to scale systems and processes as the team grows, manage conflict and maintain focus toward delivery excellence.
Your impact will be:
Collaborate with engineering teams across the world, mentor, share information with and learn from other leaders and engineers to help drive clarity of requirements, plans and delivery cadence.
New feature planning, development and delivery
Establishing and enhancing processes across the organisation
Bring an inquisitive, innovative & collegial attitude to problem solving
Stakeholder management across multiple dimensions
Delivering in an agile business environment, building agility into the DNA of a team
What you’ll bring:
Established expertise managing complex technical programs and projects
Demonstrable track record of running, growing & optimizing multiple small to medium sized development projects and teams of diverse skill sets
Ability to run project workshops (internal and external), scoping, work breakdown, scrum etc.
Be able to advocate for & speak on behalf of the team
Excellent written and verbal communication
Enthusiasm for problem solving and working with/through others to achieve successful outcomes
What will give you an edge:
Innovative leadership style
Engineering management experience across disciplines
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Experience in OSS communities (not just Postgres, though that’s a double plus!)
