Role Overview

Deimos is seeking a Professional Services: Senior Agile Delivery Manager to provide operational support for the Professional Services department. You will analyse time reports, manage billing cycles, set up projects in internal systems, and onboard new team members. Your data-driven approach and strong analytical skills will be crucial in identifying revenue opportunities, suggesting process improvements, and ensuring accurate project financials. We seek a highly organised, analytical and detail-oriented individual with experience in Professional Services Operations/Coordination in a tech environment or similar roles.

What you will be doing

Financial and Revenue Management:

  • Collaborate with Professional Services leadership to create reports analysing financial and resource management data.

  • Utilise these reports to support achievement of revenue and budgetary goals for the Services organisation.

  • Run weekly time reports to estimate revenue and identify any resource or revenue adjustments needed to meet or exceed monthly targets.

  • Manage monthly and quarterly billing cycles, working with the Finance Department to ensure accurate revenue recording.

  • Develop analytical reports for all services revenue streams, adhering to company standards and management direction.

  • Assist Services leadership with proactive resource management and forecasting processes.

Project Management and Support:

  • Coordinate with Project Management Teams and other relevant departments (Sales, Operations) to gather data on project opportunities and staffing requirements.

  • Act as a subject matter expert for services personnel, providing guidance on revenue-related processes such as time entry, project management operations, customer billing, and staff utilisation.

  • Maintain an updated Professional Services / Vertical Resource Skills Matrix to ensure accurate skills information for all PS resources.

  • Assist with the creation and sending of client progress reports including CSAT scores.

Process Improvement and Support:

  • Continuously identify and implement improvements to business and reporting processes, ensuring alignment with evolving organisational needs.

  • Support Professional Services staff by providing clear understanding of revenue, working hours, and target attainment goals.

  • Act as a liaison between the Project Management members, Finance department, and Services staff, fostering smooth communication and collaboration.

  • Facilitate timely and complete onboarding for new PS employees, tailoring content to their specific roles.

  • Work closely with the Human Resources department to facilitate scheduling of interviews with candidates and internal engineers

What you must have

  • Proven experience in project management, administration, or coordination within the IT professional services industry.

  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to understand and manage project budgets.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, including data analysis, formula creation, and reporting.

  • Experience in resource management and allocation (traffic management).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate and timely results.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management).

  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, PSM, ACP).

  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira, Basecamp, ClickUp, Monday).

  • Understanding of IT service delivery processes.
