Product Owner

Roadie, a UPS Company, is a logistics management and crowdsourced delivery platform. Founded in 2014, Roadie offers businesses fast, flexible and asset-light logistics solutions for last-mile delivery. Roadie enables local delivery to more than 95% of U.S. households by providing access to more than 200,000 independent drivers nationwide – allowing businesses to offer their customers delivery optionality for almost any industry, from airlines to artisans.

We are looking for a Product Owner to help develop and execute a product roadmap focused on empowering various teams and key stakeholders via internal tooling. This role will dive deep into different teams to understand their workflows and processes to find problem areas, inefficiencies, and gaps they have when solving cases with the tools available to them. In this role, you’ll work on our Internal Operations team and partner cross-functionally to build solutions that help our Customer Experience (CX) organization become more efficient.

What You’ll Do

• Working closely with the Product Lead of Internal Operations to identify goals, direction, and execution

• Communicating regularly with internal stakeholders (Customer Support, Customer Operations Partners) to understand their goals and help them identify root problems

• Working with third party vendors on integrations into the Roadie system

• Synthesizing insights into a strong product direction and immerse yourself within the agile development team to execute your vision

• Scoping, planning and delivering an actionable product backlog, prioritize stories, and ship high-quality features weekly

• Leading projects end-to-end, partner cross-functionally to monitor user adoption, engagement, and satisfaction metrics

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in the product development life cycle

• Experience regularly shipping features and maintaining a mature product

• Experience collaborating with development, QA, and UX teams in an agile environment

• Experience with people or money management systems, preferred 

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, using data to drive decision-making

• Basic knowledge of technical concepts like API endpoints and event-streaming approaches like Kafka

• Thrive in environments where you are balancing different perspectives and competing priorities

• Radical thinking paired with strong execution. Can envision a world different than the status quo with the ability to articulate a clear path to get there
