What you will do:

We are looking for a Product Manager within the Hotels Product team, supporting this two-sided marketplace of travelers and suppliers - Online Travel Agencies and Hotel Chains. In this role, you will need to focus on both sides of the platform, finding solutions that are beneficial to the consumers and business customers alike. You are likely to tackle complex technical product areas, such as offer ranking, bidding and other aspects of auction dynamics - many of them driven by Machine Learning models. As a PM, you will influence the product strategy, own your roadmap and produce specifications that evolve the platform’s feature set for both internal and external customers, and work closely with engineering to ensure quality deliverables on-time.

  • Develop requirements and specifications that are informed by the product strategy, competitive positioning, customer feedback, technical feasibility and your unique insight

  • Lead cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle, owning the product features from conception through launch

  • Work with business stakeholders to define and translate strategic business ideas into product stories and acceptance criteria

  • Manage technical projects, track progress towards milestones, and keep tabs on all the moving parts of agile planning and development cycles

  • Communicate the state of projects across teams and stakeholders

  • Research, troubleshoot, diagnose, and recommend solutions to complex business and technical problems

What You’ll bring to the team:

  • 2+ years of product management experience

  • Strong technical skills. Able to dive into software architecture and design tradeoff discussions with engineering teams.

  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, results drive environment with a diverse set of responsibilities

  • Proven ability to create, analyze and communicate analytics and performance metrics

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with various audiences across different seniority levels and a spectrum of functions.

  • High attention to detail and the ability to effectively lead multiple projects at a time.

  • Successfully able to meet deadlines

  • Strong time-management skills and ability to prioritize

  • Proficiency with agile development

  • Ability to collaborate with a global team, across multiple time zones

Be prepared to work out of usual business hours when required to teleconference with overseas teams, as necessary
