Product Manager
About the role
This role is for someone who wants to shape product strategy, not just execute someone else's vision. You'll own the product roadmap and build out the product management function at TopQuadrant. As part of a fast-growing company, you'll span the entire product lifecycle—from customer discovery to launch—with deep collaboration across sales, engineering, and professional services teams.
What you'll do
Own the complete product experience end-to-end
Build and evolve the product roadmap based on customer needs, market trends, and emerging technology
Uncover unarticulated customer needs through deep engagement and insight development
Drive customer success by translating what's possible into what's valuable
Define product specs, user stories, mockups, and acceptance criteria—independently or in partnership with engineering
Collaborate with development and leadership to plan, drive, and execute product release cycles
Partner with Support, Professional Services, and Sales to understand customer issues and drive business outcomes
Work with marketing to create customer-driven messaging and content
Your Superpowers
Customer Obsession You have a dogged focus on customer value and possess genuine empathy for user needs. You're constantly asking 'what problem are we really solving?'
Technical Curiosity You have an insatiable appetite to learn complex technical concepts quickly—and you love sharing what you know. You can influence technical audiences in their language while translating complexity into clarity for business stakeholders.
Communication Excellence You're a keen listener first, then a clear communicator. You can build consensus across diverse teams and make everyone feel heard.
Practical Problem Solving You stand for elegant, practical solutions. You love the power of data but never lose sight of real-world constraints. You know how to make things 'feel custom without being custom.'
What Success Looks Like (Year One Measurable Accountabilities)
Manage all aspects of software development and delivery (planning, design, development, QA, distribution) with 100% quality process compliance
Deliver timely quarterly releases that balance features, specifications, and resources
Improve development productivity by 20% through evolved processes and infrastructure
Maintain compliance and oversee security/risk mitigation (no failed SOC2 audits)
Foster collaboration across the company with measurable improvement in employee satisfaction
Provide quarterly feedback and goal setting for your team
Working at TopQuadrant Best Exemplified by Our Values
Possibility (aka the “Why Not” mentality): We embrace new ideas and ways of thinking because we never let an opportunity to “level up” pass us by. Piloting and testing good ideas will keep us learning. In general, moving faster is better.
Humility (aka “Gate check your baggage”): Best ideas win. We check our assumptions and our egos at the door. Titles, the “the way things were,” or “should have been” just don’t matter. The best ideas focus on the greater good. When in doubt, customers (and customer value) know best.
Ownership: Finish lines matter. We expect ourselves and each other to step up and own processes and outcomes to completion. We give credit, let decision makers decide, ask for and give feedback, point fingers inward first, examine every cost, and never make excuses because that’s what makes great teams great.
Partnership: Customers value us because we provide them with superpowers they’ve never had. We do not simply provide a product or service; we engage as equal partners in their solution. We influence the outcome and express our expertise and opinions unapologetically. And when we succeed, we share in the value we deliver because we value our time, our technology, and ourselves.
Teamwork: Be the person you’d want to work with. Build each other up.
Why Join Us
You'll work on meaningful problems at the intersection of data, AI, and enterprise technology.
You'll shape the future of how the world's largest organizations understand and use their data. And you'll do it with a team that values substance, trusts you to do great work, and actually lives their values.
