Syndigo’s Digital Shelf and eCommerce analytics product line is part of Syndigo’s integrated suite of MDM, PIM, content creation, content syndication, and content optimization solutions. 

The analytics products are intended to surface key insights and suggest optimization actions for all aspects of the digital shelf, including areas such as: SEO and search/results placement, content health and optimization, inventory/stock reporting, pricing intelligence, pricing & brand protection, ratings/reviews, user-generated content, competitive insights, assortment analytics, shopper traffic/engagement, shopper behaviors, and impacts on cart conversion rates & sales.     

The Product Owner will manage all aspects of the Digital Shelf and eCommerce Analytics solution with a focus on stitching important actionable insights throughout key user workflow steps in our platforms. The Product Owner will contribute by helping grow the revenue of the business, ensuring product health, improving client satisfaction and renewal rates, and executing on the delivery of our roadmap. This role will need to collaborate cross-functionally across all Syndigo departments and with executive leadership.  

HOW WE’LL BE WINNING TOGETHER DAY TO DAY

  • Client/User Research & Needs – Engage directly with clients and collaborate with sales & marketing teams to understand client needs and objectives.  Work closely with those stakeholders to deliver on new customer driven product features 

  • Market Research – Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging tech and regulatory requirements.  Understand the market conditions enough to help ensure proper positioning of Syndigo’s solutions 

  • Roadmap Planning & Management – Collaborate with other product owners and executive leadership to influence and execute on product roadmaps  

  • Design & Development – Collaborate with UI/UX Designers and other product owners to create detailed business requirements, functional design specifications, and other needed documentation for the engineering/development teams 

  • SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) – Collaborate with a program manager to lead the agile life-cycle for the Digital Shelf and eCommerce Analytics product line by managing required priorities, grooming new requirements with engineering, estimating work efforts, assigning development work & planning sprints, ensuring the execution of the testing and delivery/launch of new features, and conducting retroactive assessments of sprints and projects to drive continuous improvement   

  • Product Health & Bug/Fix – Responsible for ensuring client satisfaction and achieving high renewal rates, including assessment and prioritization of reported bugs and client requested enhancements 

  • Product Launches – Collaborate on product launches by providing the needed expertise and thought leadership in order to enable successful product marketing, pricing, commercial team training, client education/training, solutions packaging, beta client programs, and other aspects of launching new products/features into the market   

  • Commercial Support & Thought Leadership – Participate as the SME for the product line by supporting the solutions engineers and commercial sales teams as needed in pre-sales efforts and key client business review meetings, and by collaborating with marketing for blogs, webinars, and client events  

 

WE SHOULD TALK IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU

  • 4+ years of relevant product management/product owner experience 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, business, finance or a related field 

  • Previous experience / domain knowledge in eCommerce Analytics solutions with focus in areas such as digital shelf, content health/optimization, SEO, pricing intelligence, shopper behaviors, digital advertising, pricing compliance, brand protection, product assortment, or sales metrics 

  • Data and outcomes-driven mindset 

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects from 0 to 100 (start to finish) and using metrics relentlessly to measure product performance and decisions 

  • Solid grasp on data analysis and stats to surface key insights from a vast array of data points and translate those insights into a narrative and/or action 

  • Understanding of ML techniques and algorithms, preferred 

  • Excellent communication skills 

  • Comfort with direct client engagement  

  • Prior experience in managing challenging priorities and delivering on rapid timelines  

  • Prior experience developing/documenting user stories, business requirements, and product specifications 

  • Experience with Agile frameworks and leading Agile teams 

  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Excel, and PowerPoint 

  • Candidates with CSM or CSPO certification are preferred, but is not required
