Key Responsibilities and Tasks

As a Product Manager, your core responsibilities will expand to include:

  • Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and articulate a clear vision for the product, aligned with the company's strategic objectives and customer needs. Create a roadmap to guide the development team and stakeholders through execution and adjustments as necessary.

  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with clients, partners, and internal teams to gather and prioritize product requirements and feedback. Organize and lead stakeholder meetings, ensuring alignment and managing expectations across diverse groups.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the energy renovation sector. Use insights to inform product strategy and ensure competitive advantage.

  • User research: Plan and conduct user research and interviews to validate ideas, and assumptions through test prototypes as needed. Continuously improve product offerings based on user feedback.

  • Product Development Oversight: Collaborate with UX researchers, designers, and developers to ensure product features are user-centric, meet market needs, and are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product. Regularly track, analyze, and report on product performance, making data-driven decisions to iterate and improve.

  • Internal Coordination: Act as the linchpin between different departments, ensuring clear communication and coordination. Prioritize product development tasks based on strategic importance and resource availability.

  • Proven experience as a software Product Manager, preferably in a startup or scale-up environment within the tech or energy sector.

  • Strong background in UX research, with a knack for translating user needs into product features that drive satisfaction and engagement.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating teams and managing stakeholder relationships effectively.

  • Agile and adaptable, with a results-driven mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Analytical and data-driven while not afraid to make decisions when there is a shortage of data backup.

  • Creative and open-minded, always open to different opinions, understand and discuss with the team to find solutions.

  • Fluent Dutch language skills are essential for engaging with local stakeholders and understanding market nuances.

Bonus points

  • Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools, able to create simple wireframes or prototypes to demonstrate feature concepts.

  • Previous experience working as a UX/UI designer or software engineer.
